Magazines Of The 100 Most Influential Biology and Medicine In The Last Century


"Dbio Section of Medicine and Life Sciences SLA (Special Libraries Association) has compiled a list of the 100 most influential journals of Biology

The list was compiled by expert panels, three areas of knowledge:

Clinical Medicine and Health Sciences
Cellular and Molecular Biology including biotechnology and multidisciplinary journals
Natural Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Anthropology and Paleontology)
The list contains 33-34 journals for each area, and highlight the 10 most influential journals:

Clinical Medicine and Health Sciences

The New England Journal of Medicine
JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association
BMJ: The British Medical Journal (with a difference of 2 votes out of The Lancet)
Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and multidisciplinary journals

Science
Nature
Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the USA
Natural Sciences:

The American Journal of Botany
The Journal of Zoology
The American Journal of Physical Anthropology (broken down in the Journal of Human Evolution, and American Journal of Human Biology)
The Journal of Paleontology
Wolter-Kluwer-Health / was elected magazine "Century" magazine Nature, followed by The New England Journal of Medicine and Science and editor of the century Elsevier, followed by Wiley, Nature Pub. Group, and Lippincott Williams and Wilkins
